the process

splitting into components

we break the piece down into its parts —vocals, instruments, ambience, layers— and assign each one to an independent bluetooth speaker.

one speaker, one channel

each attendee gets a portable bluetooth speaker and chooses which channel to listen to. they carry it in hand, no need to connect it to anything else.

the mix is born when you bring them together

when two or more attendees bring their speakers close, their channels play at once and blend in the air. the mix isn't made by a sound desk: they make it, in that moment.
